A utility for collecting system information. It generates a zip archive containing system event logs, antivirus logs, the configuration description, and system and Dr.Web settings.

What does the report include?

Technical OS information

  • general system information;
  • launched processes;
  • scheduled tasks;
  • services, drivers;
  • the default browser;
  • installed applications;
  • restrictions policy;
  • the HOSTS file;
  • DNS servers;
  • entries in the system event log;
  • a list of system directories;
  • registry branches;
  • Winsock providers;
  • network connections;
  • Dr.Watson debugger reports;
  • performance index.

Information about the installed software

  • type and version of the installed Dr.Web software;
  • license information;
  • information about the Dr.Web software modules (files);
  • Dr.Web software settings and configuration parameters;
  • information about the list of installed components;
  • Dr.Web software operation logs.

How to use it

  • 1 Save the utility on your PC,
  • 2 Launch the saved file,
  • 3 Click on the «Generate report» button,
  • 4 Wait for the report-generation process to complete.
By default, the zip archive with the report is saved with the password «virus» in the folder C:\Users\User_name\Doctor Web\
The utility will never transmit collected information anywhere outside the user's end device.

What does the report include?

  • Dr.Web software operation logs.

How to use it

  • 1 Download the utility (the utility is intended for macOS 10.15 and later versions) and save it to your desktop.
  • 2 Unpack the application file and run Dr.Web SysInfo.
  • 3 You will also need to grant the utility full disk-access permissions. When the corresponding alert is displayed, press «Grant access». In the «Disk Access» window, toggle the «Dr.Web SysInfo» switch to the «on» position. In the subsequent prompt, select «Restart»
  • 4 Return to the Dr.Web SysInfo interface and click on the «Generate report» button.
  • 5 Once you see the message informing you that the archive was created successfully, click on the «Show in folder» button. The report file's name will be generated according to this template: id.dwsysinfo.tar.gz.
  • 6 Attach the file to your request for our technical support service.

How to use it

Launch command Abbreviated name Description
--help -h Display on the console's screen or the terminal emulator's screen brief «help» information regarding the existing command-line parameters; display information that the utility has finished operating
--verbose -v Display on the console's screen or the terminal emulator's screen detailed information regarding the utility’s operation.
--all -a Include in the report information for all of the categories. Equivalent to launching the utility with the following parameters: --drw --net --fs --service --users --app --logs --exts --disks.
--drw Include in the report logs and Dr.Web product settings (if they are installed).
--net Include in the report information about the network (active network connections, active rules for the system component NetFilter and contents of /etc/hosts)
--fs Include in the report information about files in standard directories for Unix: /bin, /sbin, /usr/bin, /usr/sbin, /etc, and other
--service Include in the report information about applications launched automatically by the operating system
--users Include in the report information about users and groups
--app Include in the report information about launched processes, installed applications and .desktop files
--logs Include in the report the contents of the system logs
--exts Include in the report information about browser extensions
--disks Include in the report information about mounted devices and the efivars section (if available)
In order for the utility to be run with data-collection commands, superuser privileges are required. Example: # ./fixit4u.amd64 -a
