By downloading the free version of Dr.Web CureIt!, you agree that, while scanning your computer, Dr.Web CureIt! will be sending your scanning statistics and system information to Doctor Web. This data will help Doctor Web better assess the overall antivirus security situation and perfect the detection and curing technologies in Dr.Web products.

Dr.Web CureIt!! doesn't collect or transmit any personal information that may help reveal your identity.

The information transferred during Dr.Web CureIt! system scans

  • CPU (model, parameters, current and maximum clock speed, and the number of cores and threads).
  • RAM information (the total and currently available amount of physical and virtual memory).
  • Operating system (title, version and build, installed service packs, boot mode, account privileges—user or administrator, and regional settings).
  • The installed antivirus, antispyware and firewall.
  • Information about the threats found by the Dr.Web scanner (threat name and type, infected object name and type, action applied, and the infected file’s hash, if necessary).
  • The scan summary (scanning end time, total files and objects scanned, number of suspicious objects, and number of detected malicious programs of each type)., The Dr.Web scanner action summary (number of objects to which no action was applied and the number of cured, deleted, moved, renamed and ignored objects).
